The Withered Meetup - Withered Family Members Only
Before the quests begin and the battle for the Thorned Crown starts, each Family will gather for a morning meetup with their Family Hosts. This is your chance to: 👑 Learn the rules 🖤 Meet others in your Family ⚔️ Form alliances (or suspiciously stare at everyone) 🔥 Plan your strategy and decide how you're going to earn points and claim victory Will your Family work together? Will you divide and conquer? Will chaos take over? The fate of your Family starts here.

The Tavern Shanty
Sea songs, mischief and voices raised together... step aboard for a lively shanty singing session hosted by the Edinburgh Shanty Night. Whether you're an experienced siren of the seas or you swear to every ancient spirit that you cannot carry a tune, everyone is welcome. Sea shanties are easy to pick up, with powerful choruses designed for groups rather than perfect singers. Gather with fellow adventurers, lend your voice to the crowd and lose yourself in tales of storms, sailors and distant shores. This is less about hitting the right notes and more about becoming part of the crew. All we ask is that you come ready to sing, laugh and join in.

What is Magick?
Join Joanne, aka Guided by Gaia Tarot, to talk about all things witchy. What is magick? How can we access our own magick? Who can be a witch (spoiler alert: all of us - including men!). How can witchcraft help with healing and empowerment? Does the Rule of 3 exist? Should we do dark magick? Joanne will share her experience and thoughts on all of the above, and more!

The History of The Unseelie Gathering
This interactive 30-minute storytelling experience will reveal the history of the Gathering and the rise of the rival Families that now battle for power. Hear tales of ancient alliances, betrayal and the origins of the Thorned Crown as the story unfolds around you. But beware... history is not always as it seems. Audience choices, Family participation and hidden moments throughout the session may influence which version of the legends survives. Will your Family prove they were the rightful rulers all along, or uncover secrets that should have remained buried?
