Anticipation is building across the realm as the Unseelie Gathering prepares to return to Paisley Town Hall on August 1st, with all three families rallying their supporters ahead of the annual contest for the Thorned Crown.

Across taverns, forests, and shadowed corners of the world, loyalties have already been declared. The Withered, The Flameborn, and The Nightweavers each command a growing following, their members preparing to represent their family when the Gathering begins.

For one day each year, these rival factions are brought together under a single roof – not in peace, but in competition.

At stake is the Thorned Crown, a symbol of dominance within the Unseelie Court. The family that claims it will hold power until the Gathering returns again, shaping influence, reputation, and standing across the realms.

The structure of the Gathering remains unchanged. When the doors open at 11am, supporters will enter already bound to their chosen family. From that moment, every action taken throughout the day contributes to the wider contest.

Quests will be undertaken. Secrets uncovered. Challenges faced. Alliances may form, though trust is rarely guaranteed. Even those who choose to observe from the tavern are said to play their part, as influence can be earned in more ways than one.

Points are gathered continuously, with each family’s standing shifting as the day unfolds. By the final count, only one will emerge victorious.

The Withered enter this year’s Gathering with their usual quiet confidence, relying on patience, strategy, and a deep understanding of the cycles that govern the Court. The Flameborn, by contrast, have made their intentions clear – reports suggest they are preparing for a more aggressive push, aiming to dominate the field through sheer force and presence. Meanwhile, the Nightweavers remain characteristically silent, though few doubt their ability to influence the outcome from the shadows.

As always, the true outcome remains uncertain.
